Free Radio arrived in the West Midlands in 2012, before that it was known under 4 separate brands: brmb, Wyvern, Mercia and Beacon. I produced content for both Free Radio and the brands that went before it.
My main role at the station was as a Content Producer. This included creating the video assets for Free Radio when it rebranded, designing sponsorship graphics for brands like BMI Baby and filming events including a car drive in an old banger from Wolverhampton to Barcelona.
For Live 2011, I produced and filmed the presenter led backstage videos. Across the evening these were pushed out across Facebook and Twitter.
Some of these videos were made way back in 2011, only a few months after the birth of Instagram!
